Did You Know? 2014 Constitution Day Celebration

Did you know?

  • The U.S. Constitution has 4,400 words. It is the oldest and shortest written Constitution of any government in the world.
  • Of the spelling errors in the Constitution, "Pensylvania" above the signers' names is probably the most glaring.

Come join us in celebration of the Constitution Day on September 17th with programs as follow:

  • 9:00 a.m.    Reading of the Preamble by the fourth grade Luhrs students along with the University President.
  • 7:00 p. m.   Special Lecture on "Religion and the Constitution" by Dr. Steven Lichtman, Associate Professor of Political Science. Grove Forum.

The display of artworks by GBLUES students on U.S. Constitution topics are on display in the Lehman Library, lower level lobby.
