Ashley Esposito |
Ashley Esposito is the new Collection Development and Assessment Librarian. Ashley received her master's degree in library science from Clarion University. She more recently completed an MA in English at Villanova University, where her research interests in female authorship during the Victorian Period culminated in her master's thesis. Ashley joins us from Merion Mercy Academy in Philadelphia.

Christy Fic |
Christy Fic has been a reference librarian at Ship since January 2013, but this fall she is transitioning into a new role and serving as the Archivist & Special Collections Librarian. Before coming to Ship, she worked as an archivist at the Smithsonian Institution. Christy is currently completing her second master's, in Applied History, and is excited to get back into archives.

Sara Pike |
Sara Pike joins us from Messiah College, where she has worked as a serials and cataloging technician. She has a master's in library science from Clarion University and is currently the Technical Services and Systems Manager, supervising the technical services department and providing systems support for the library. Sara enjoys volunteering with local animal rescue, cycling, and spending time with her family.

Josefine Smith |
Josefine Smith, the library's new Instruction Coordinator, received her bachelor's degree in history and literature and master's degree in library and information science from the University of Pittsburgh in 2011. She is extremely passionate about supporting information literate students and student engagement, and gets satisfaction from believing she helps at least one person learn something every day. Outside of work, Josefine enjoys hiking and playing with her pup Charlie.
