Thanksgiving Break is upon us!
During Thanksgiving Break, the library will be open at the following times:

Tuesday, November 22, 7:30am - 10:00 pm
Wednesday, November 23, 7:30am - 4:30 pm
Thursday, November 24, Library Closed
Friday, November 25, Library Closed
Saturday, November 26, Library Closed
Sunday, November 27, 4:00pm - Midnight

Monday, November 28: Regular Fall Semester Hours Resume 

Librarians will not be available to answer reference questions in person over Thanksgiving Break. If you need research assistance, please email us! Have a great break!

Arrgh ye ready for the Fall 2016 Book Fair? 

The Luhrs Library is hosting a Fall Book Fair from Nov. 15th – Nov. 18th.  The hours are:
Tuesday 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.,
Wednesday 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.,
Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. (5p.m. – 8 p.m. is Family Night), and
Friday 7:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.

All proceeds benefit the Luhrs Library.  Cash, check, and most major credit cards are gladly accepted.

Everyone is invited to take advantage of this opportunity to shop for children’s books, teen novels, cookbooks, and educational materials!

Straighten yer peg leg and come if you dare--get hooked on a book this fall at the Fair!

Welcome back from Fall Break!

In case you've forgotten, all our books are made from 100% Groot-free paper!

Library Hours are back to our regular hours:

Sunday Noon-Midnight
Monday 7:30am - Midnight
Tuesday 7:30am - Midnight
Wednesday 7:30am - Midnight
Thursday 7:30am - Midnight
Friday 7:30am - 6pm
Saturday 9am - 5pm

Everyone has been asking about the library in the event of a faculty strike. As mentioned by President Harpster, university facilities will remain open as usual. Research guides and research databases will be available through the library home page as usual. The difference for students and staff using the library is that Research Consultations and in-depth Research Assistance, which are provided by the library faculty, will not be available.
