Design Contest - Win Glory Forever

Calling all students!

Do you have a knack for illustration/design? The library wants YOU to enter our design contest.

The Ezra Lehman Memorial Library recently implemented use of a single search product which gives users the ability to search nearly all of the print and electronic resources available through the library in one place! We want to give life to this spectacular search tool, which is why this semester the Library will hold a contest for students to create an image that will represent the Ebsco Discovery Search (or ED).

Give ED a persona and submit your creation to the contest by sending a .jpg or .png file to librarian@ship.edu. Be sure to include your name and contact information too!

Submission deadline: March 31, 2015

Student voting on 3 finalists: April 6-10, 2015

Winner announced: April 14, 2015

Archives Hours Spring 2015

Ever wanted to learn more about some aspect of campus life--a student organization, building, or sports team?

Need help finding information about the campus, or local history, for a class project?

Want to learn how to preserve your photos, scrapbooks, study-abroad journals, student organization minutes or team rosters for the future? Want to make them accessible to future Ship students?

The Shippensburg University Archives & Special Collections has open research hours for Spring 2015!  Please visit the Archives in Lehman Library room 207 during our open research hours this semester:

Monday: 9:00am-11:00am, 1:00pm-3:00pm
Tuesday: 9:00am-11:00am, 1:00pm-3:00pm
Wednesday: 9:00am-11:00am, 1:00pm-3:00pm, 6:00pm-9:00pm
Thursday: 9:00am-11:00am, 1:00pm-3:00pm

Closed during Spring Break March 9-13, 2015

We just noticed our "Full Text @ Your Library" links in Google Scholar search results pages have been restored! Woohoo!
