The library's EBSCOhost databases are temporarily unavailable (as of noon, Wednesday, April 30th). We are looking into the issue and hope that these resources will be available shortly.

Check out the library's Films on Demand database to learn the skills you need to conduct a successful job search!
Finding a job is hard work. You might not even know where to start. Don't worry. In Films on Demand you can find plenty of short videos created to help college students just like you learn how to make the most of their job search. Learn how to use social media in a professional manner, prepare for an interview, network with professionals in your field, and more.
Here are a few videos to get your started. You can search Films on Demand using keywords like "interview" or "resume" to find more relevant videos.

Brush up on your interviewing technique. Watch: Graduate Interview Skills

Once you've landed an interview, you can use ABI/INFORM to research the company. In the Data & Reports section of the database you'll find company profiles, annual reports, market reports and more, which will help you gain insight into how the company has performed recently, its goals, and how it stacks up to competitors. When researching a company you're interested in, don't just stop at the company website. Library resources can help you dig further and stay informed.
